It'll have non tubular/non hollow leaves, instead thin leaves with a line of silver down the middle.
The bulb has a distinct break in color between white and brown rather than the color blending through and staying mostly white as an edible plant would.

Mistaken for onion grass, garlic, chives, etc ~ Star of Bethlehem is a toxic beast that should be dug up immediately and never consumed.

Tomatoes, asters, bee balm, coneflowers, and more sunflowers have joined the party! A lot was winter sown in reusable containers such as an orange juice jug and old salad containers. 💚
