I love when everything is blue!

Founded in 1792, Lighthouse Park is 190 acres of pristine rainforest surrounding a historic site with a rich history. The lighthouse that's currently there isn't the original, but it's been well maintained so it looks great for being over 110 years old.

Before making it to Horseshoe Bay, I stopped at Porteau Cove Provincial Park to get my first look at the ocean on this trip. It has a great view of Howe Sound and I think it'd be a cool place to camp if you're okay with the noise from the highway nearby.

Duffey Lake is a spot that really caught my eye. It's not a huge lake, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in scenery. It's between Whistler and Lillooet on Highway 99 and makes for a nice spot to stretch and take a break from the winding road.

This is footage taken earlier today of the eye of Hurricane Melissa.

The entire view is remarkable, of the core of one of the strongest Atlantic basic hurricanes in recorded history, and a catastrophic hit to Jamaica and the central Caribbean.
