Just FYI, we can skip box breathing, passively watching thoughts, all the default coping skills toolkit stuff. Doubled up on anxiety med and still like hell even thinking on it. If I get through the first couple times, it'll be fine, part of my world/routine. But goddamn, overwhelming dread.
If someone armed puts me too hard on the spot brain has 3 modes:
Fumbling half-sentences (that may or may not be relevant or true).
Panic freeze.
Hyper aggression.
And none of those are good if I draw an impatient Mr. Hopes To Be A "Real Cop" Someday or Mr. Chip On His Shoulder campus officer.
