So I was experimenting around with the new 1.26.2 Snapshot now that it has come to Java edition, and the cinnabar is a surprisingly convincing ground-beef looking block.

Finally made a skin for myself, haven’t done that in like, 3 years or so. I’m happy with it, though the shading on the arms and legs feels off and I can’t place why. Overall tho, not bad I think!

Kinda got annoyed with dyes. Some have really cool unique designs, and some are just ovals with the exact same pixel distribution. It’s kinda inconsistent and I wanted to “fix” that with making them into vials.

Mangrove Apples I am 90% sure aren’t edible, and Pine Nuts.
These were intended to be parts of packs that retextured the ambiguous wooden items in Minecraft, and to replace the apple for each. Never ended up adding them tho.

You switch to Game Design to make game assets as it’s something you’ve been learning for years now, all for it to loop back around to learning animation for clients who want animated Minecraft assets. In case you can’t tell I’m confused as frick with life rn. I just wanna work for Mojang tbh. (2/2)
When you initially go to College to animate characters/cartoons, realise you’re too far down the road to start learning, so you pursue Concept Art instead. Then, you see you’re the worst artist of your class and are late on that anyways, and it’s highly unlikely you succeed. So instead… (1/2)
