The entire process of making these has been a great experience. I don’t typically build by hand, but I can definitely see myself making more items like this.

Final trimming done on the two chawan. Lots of finer work today getting the shapes right as well as trying to get rid of as much weight as possible from the gray cup. Had a mishap with the yellow one in the form of cracking, but that can be fixed.
Overall VERY happy with these two. Up next, firing.
