Looks nice and a slow-closure too. I paid extra for the slo-close too though mine’s a normal bog. Can’t remember if it’s WD40 or something else that you put on the threads to slow down the rusting. The rusting is caused by us. Men.

My mother has been overpaid her civil service pension and ordered to repay it Through no fault of their own, she faces repaying £100 a month until she is 93 or face legal action

Am absolutely furious that they can get away with the massive harm they can cause pensioners. It’s like a toned-down P.O Scandal and *anyone* can be at the receiving end. The replies too

I was just talking to a friend today about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - new books every month, totally for free, for kids ages 1-5.

My son was part of the program - this is a copy of the letter that came with his last book, right after his 5th birthday.

The one I saw was £100 about 15 years ago and that’s why I balked. Now rare & ultra expensive. The sort of thing to have a special shelf built in an alcove & beautifully lit. 😞 #oneday
