Wow! It's a very unique place. I've been many times just because it's not too far from Singapore, but this was my first time really leaving Tokyo and getting to see the rest of the country!

Given current events, it felt extremely important to visit the Atomic Bomb Dome while I was in Hiroshima last week

Absolutely heartbreaking walking through the memorials and museums

It should be noted that I was just being hyperbolic, and that we had an outhouse at an established campsite that’s built specifically for the purpose of researching these cats!

We were using an outhouse at an established campsite, but it was EXTREMELY rudimentary

I’ll spare you the pictures but uh…I’ll just say that there was zero insulation and the panel gaps were large so we may as well have been outside

Hahaha the similarities are so strong! They seem to be just as moody and goofy as our regular house cats
