Remembering today Mr John Hunter 'Jack' McIntosh, the 'sporting solicitor' - a keen amateur jockey, with his 'formidable array of picnic cups,' who died on 8 July 1924. He also happened to serve as Chancellor of the Diocese of Bathurst 1901-1909! #anglican #101years

Wishing Laurie Webb, who played Arthur Ollis in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 (1972–1973), a happy 101st birthday. He is the oldest living person associated with the Whoniverse, and so far, the seventh longest lived.

19 April 1924: birth (Coventry UK) of David Laurie Thawley, second Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral Wangaratta 1972-1989 (and subsequently Dean Emeritus). #anglican #101years Obiit 2 April 2011. He originally came to Australia as Vice Principal at St Francis' College (Brisbane) 1960-1965.

15 April 1924: death of the Rev. John Thomas Marriott, aged 84. He had served as first Dean of Bathurst 1882-1912. #anglican #101years In 1882 Marriott had persuaded the Bathurst Synod to support his ordinance making All Saints a Cathedral, and him Dean.
