This was on the roll I shot for the most recent 127 day. Shutter on the Brownie was way off. I had issues with the backing paper numbers printing to the negatives. It took a bit of manipulation to get anything out of it but I do like it in a weird abstract kind of way!

Rera's empty 127 film spool is a thing of beauty.

The rear of the Purma Special. There are two windows, in the left is the number '1'. After taking the first image I have to wind the film so '1' appears in the right window for the second frame (and so on).
It took ages to wind the film to the first frame, but eventually the number '1' appeared in the left window.
This is ISO 200 film, and the Camera Meter app suggests a shutter speed of 1/2000s even on a dull day. I think I'll have to use it at the fastest shutter speed with an ND4 filter. #127Day
The Purma Special, an English made camera from the 1930s. Next to the camera is a roll of Crossbird Creative colour film.
After loading, the back of the camera was taped up to stop it popping open unexpectedly.
It's 12 July, or 127 Day, so it's an opportunity to load up the Purma Special. This is a camera that I've had for a couple of years now and never gotten around to using.
Loaded it with Crossbird Creative, the only C41 colour film I have, and taped up the back — just in case.

Tomorrow is the #127day (for SI system users), meaning that I'm going to try out 'Rera Pan 100' 127 film on this little beauty, a 1936 M.I.O.M Lec Junior bakelite camera from France 😊
