I'm doing some proofreading and checking end-of-line breaks, and I just remembered that Merriam-Webster no longer shows hyphenation. 😑
Dictionary.com doesn't show hyphenation either, so I guess I'm off to the American Heritage Dictionary.

DuckDuckGo search results. I have searched for 'Madame Roger des Genettes' and the first search result is to do with letters from the author Flaubert to Mdm des Genettes. But above that are a lot of 'shopping' suggestions for French-language Mr Men books: Madame Vedette, Madame Prudente, Madame Proprette etc.
One of my more amusing search results – the first actual result is correct, but the shopping suggestions made me laugh 😆

I’m proofreading an article that mentions Roman legionaries. I stopped briefly to look at something my brother sent – he works in legionella testing.
Now my poor brain thinks these Romans are misspelled – that was not a helpful juxtaposition, as it turns out 😂

US followers, am I right in thinking 'holidays' would take the preposition 'on' in the sense of during national holidays such as Thanksgiving - i.e. 'we'd all sit down to dinner together on holidays'? The text I have says 'at holidays', which doesn't feel right to me. #AmProofreading

Well, I did find an instance where I claimed that South African Prime Minister Verwoerd made a decision for Cabinet in November 1966...which would have been *very hard* for him to do since he was assassinated in September 1966!
