Zwischen Januar und Juni wurden 139.500 Wärmepumpen verkauft – ein Anstieg von 55 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Gasheizungen kamen nur noch auf 132.500 Einheiten, berichten der Bundesverband der Deutschen Heizungsindustrie (BDH) und der Bundesverband Wärmepumpe (BWP). Noch 2024 war der Gasbrenner mehr als doppelt so beliebt wie die moderne Wärmepumpe.
