The UK government itself, in 2018 in its National LGBT Survey states that this so-called therapy can include pseudo-psychological treatments to spiritual 'counselling' (quote marks my addition), and in extreme cases "... they may also include surgical and hormonal interventions, or so-called ‘corrective’ rape." (direct quote) 7% of LGBT people have been offered or undergone this practice. 10% of asexual people have been offered or undergone this practice. 13% of trans people have been offered or undergone this practice. This is abhorrent. I fully stand with and support Ban Conversion Practices, led by Saba Ali FRSA and others, and I will do anything I can to help. Please share and follow the Ban Conversion Practices page, and look at their website for more information.
