#CUBuffs Deion Sanders continues to push for exhibition games against other programs in the spring. Even goes out of his way to bring up the #CSURams and doing a potential home-and-home. Says it doesn't even have to be a game, could just be a practice.

Josh Pascarelli #back. That’s the last guy Ali Farokhmanesh was waiting on. Brandon Rechsteiner ends up being only major rotation player to depart (other than Jevin Muniz, who is out of eligibility). Jorgensen, Booth, Butler, Mbemba, McIver all returning is still a home run for the #CSURams.
Not really surprised by this, but Carey Booth announces he’s returning to the #CSURams for his senior season. Felt like Carey was always going to spend his last 2 years in Fort Collins after things didn’t work out at Notre Dame and Illinois.
Kyle Jorgensen announces he is returning to the #CSURams for his junior season. Averaged 11.5 points on 52% shooting from the field and 40% from 3-point range in breakout sophomore season in Fort Collins.
Glad I was able to finally make it up to Fort Collins the other day to check out Jim Mora's first spring ball with the #CSURams. This group practices for a long time and is constantly working when they're out on the field. A different vibe, for sure.

In their first NCAA Tournament game in a decade, #CSURams WBB leads No. 5 seed Michigan State 29-27 at halftime in Norman, Okla. Standout CSU sophomore Brooke Carlson leads all scorers with 11 points, but Rams’ stellar defense has translated so far.

Ali Farokhmanesh's first season in charge of the #CSURams ends in the first round of the NIT. Rams finish 21-13 and will head into the Pac-12 next season with the chance to make some noise with what could be a very similar roster.
Not up in Fort Collins tonight, but #CSURams about to tip off against Saint Joe's in the NIT. It's the Rams' first appearance in the NIT since 2021, when they made it to the semifinals. Chance for Ali Farokhmanesh's team to get some good postseason reps with majority of the roster set to return.

Missed this on my drive back home from Fort Collins, but the #CSURams men's hoops team's season also continue this week. Ali Farokhmanesh and co. earn a No. 3 seed in the NIT and will host Saint Joe's on Wednesday at 9 p.m. at Moby Arena.

The #CSURams' Mountain West tournament title defense ends in the quarterfinals. An offensive struggle against the Aztecs is no surprise, but the Rams got pushed around and that end of the first half was the difference in the game.
#CSURams haven't been able to cut into the San Diego State lead in the second half. Aztecs leading 51-38 with under 12 minutes to play. Just been an offensive struggle all night for CSU, while SDSU has dominated inside 34 points in the paint.
Halftime in Vegas: San Diego State 39, Colorado State 27
Just a disaster end to the half for the #CSURams. They go scoreless in the final 3:16 and the Aztecs used an 11-0 run in that span to take a big lead into the locker room. Rams shooting just 32% on FGs as a team. SDSU with 24 paint points.
#CSURams about to tip off in their Mountain West quarterfinal matchup against No. 2 seed San Diego State. Going to be a grind like last night against Fresno State. These two teams split their regular season matchups with the home team winning both. Coverage on CBSSN.

The #CSURams survive and advance to the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament. Monster second half from Jase Butler (17 of of team-high 20 points in final 20 min) leads the way.

#CSURams lead 61-58 with 3:56 to play. Buckle up. Fresno State's Jake Heidbreder (26 points, 8-14 FG,s 4-9 3s, 6-6 FTs) has had the hot hand all night. It's all about containing him in the final few minutes for the Rams.
Jase Butler (15 points, 6 rebounds) has a season-high 5 3-pointers and his latest gives the #CSURams their largest lead of the night at 57-51 with under 8 minutes to play. Much better second half from the Rams. Just gotta close this one out.
#CSURams with a quick 7-0 run in less than a minute to take their first lead since it was 17-16 in the first half. Fresno State calls timeout with CSU up 46-45 and just over 12 minutes to play. Rams shooting 54% on FGs this half and Carey Booth is up to a team-high 13 points and 6 rebounds.

#CSURams in another battle with the Bulldogs. This Fresno team just plays hard and has 22 points in the paint already. Rams need a solution for big man Garson Kocevar (14 points on 7-7 FGs off the bench). Carey Booth leads CSU with 9 points.
Really rough start offensively for the #CSURams. Fresno State leads 12-7 a little over 8 minutes in. Rams haven't scored 9n 3 minutes and are just 2-11 on FGs to start. Bulldogs' Jake Heidbreder with 8 points (3-3 FGs, 2-2 3s) to lead all scorers.
No. 7 seed #CSURams about to tip off against No. 10 seed Fresno State in the Mountain West tournament. Ali Farokhmanesh's team had won 8 straight before losing to Boise State last Saturday. Sounds like Rams will get a boost with Josh Pascarelli returning and coming off the bench.

#CSURams women's basketball wins the Mountain West tournament and is going to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016. This was the breakthrough run Ryun Williams' program needed. Hats off to Air Force for an awesome few days.
