Sikorsky and Robinson Helicopter Company Unveil New Autonomous R66 TURBINETRUCK for Cargo Missions
Aviation News – Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, and Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC) have officially launched the R66 TURBINETRUCK, a pioneering autonomous cargo helicopter. This collaboration introduces a flexible, uncrewed platform designed to handle demanding utility missions, including cargo delivery and military resupply, for both civil and defense sectors. The development stems from a strategic collaborative agreement between the two aerospace leaders, combining Sikorsky’s MATRIX™ autonomy system with a new cargo UAS helicopter from Robinson Unmanned.
