Speed cushions are rarely the answer. They're a quick fuss-free measure, so are an easier sell to politicians. It looks like they're doing something when in fact they're not. Especially in the age of #CarSpreading.

It's remarkable Westminster Council doesnt charge for car parking in the West End after 18:30... coupled with free congestion charge from TfL and no wonder there's a wild west of traffic in the evenings 😬. More and more SUVs don't help either... #carspreading
