Australopithecus sediba
‘Karabo’ (MH1), a juvenile male, was discovered at Malapa in 2008. This species lived about 1.98 million years ago. Australopithecus sediba had smaller premolars and molars compared to other Australopithecus, but shared a similar, small brain size compared to humans.
