DARQ (large, bolded) Nosey Neighbors (bolded) Maladaptive daydreams, they say. Lucid dreaming, they say. Until it came to Pearl and BigB. Those two had it too an extreme. Their daydreams foretold what would happen that night, often being horrific or puzzle-filled. Often risking life and death. When either fell asleep, the other soon followed.
Nothing could wake them up. They couldn’t wake up until they solved the puzzles. They could control everything they did, they could change the environment in the dreams, but nothing could change how many puzzles there were or how much danger there was. Any harm they faced in those lucid dreams affected their physical selves as well. Nothing could get rid of this.
