Let's be clear. Republicans at this moment are lawless. But, there is purpose to the madness.
Controlling Venezuelan oil is a means to an end. They are going to inflate away the debt we owe. So if you have savings in USD, bonds in USD. Etc you are going to pay the debt through inflation.
