I made a 40,000 ly detour from the DW3 route, and i found this class V gas giant orbiting... an F-type supergiant, pretty unusual but cool !

On March 31st we published "The End of the Rainbow", the final major chapter of the "Caretaker Protocol" Distant Worlds 3 storyline.

The Distant Worlds Expedition used their materials to build the "Rainbow's End" deep space station in the remote Roefoo sector. To give it a boost a call for fresh exploration data went out in a community goal with 2,843 contributing Commanders.

CMDRs start to assemble for the massjump with one of the cones of a white dwarf star in the background.
As the CMDRs assembled, a Caspian stack was formed for the massjump.
Waypoint 8 marked the roughly halfway point of the Distant Worlds 3 Expedition. After a two-week break, the departure celebrations included a massjump out. Enough CMDRs signed up to have 3 groups.

The expedition completed Rainbow's End, an Ocellus Starport, in Khazad-dûm. The station is now the most remote in the galaxy.

DW3's Waypoint 8, Roefoo ZE-H d10-0, otherwise known as Khazad-dûm. A white dwarf, along with a couple of red dwarfs, illuminate the system. A difficult-to-reach system due to its remote location.

Late to posting this. DW3's Waypoint 7, Guardian of the Twins. The expedition's waypoint was on a moon with a thin ammonia atmosphere.

Hey all. Stream plans for this afternoon/evening are up in the air. Good news is we have a week break before the next leg of #distantworlds3 because we now have a community goal around our brand new station in the middle of nowhere!
So expect some space fun this weekend.
