Detecting traces of proteins in blood that signal early disease: NanoProt, a collaboration between Matthias Selbach’s lab (www.mdc-berlin.de/selbach) at the #mdcBerlin and Surflay Nanotec, uses magnetic nanoparticles to “fish out” rare proteins via mass spectrometry. Funded by #ERDF and IBB.
