The #12x12PB challenge gives me a baseline goal of writing at least one draft per month. For the past couple years, I wrote those drafts on #FirstDraftFriday, hosted by @holliewolverton.bsky.social. Before that, I wrote them on critique train days hosted by @mindyalyseweiss.bsky.social.

Hi #kidlitart was a good month
-I participated in #firstDraftFriday and I won a critique!
-I participated in #Latinxpitch and an editor liked my pitch but my agent (who I don't have yet) has to send it
-I got some work after a month with nothing
-I worked a lot on my dummy
-My aji plant has 2 ajies!

Today was my third time participating in #FirstDraftFriday! It's great to start the month with a new manuscript draft! Also, being just the day after #kidlitartpostcard and after receiving a lot of love on my illustrations, it really helps to start the month in good mood!
