Tyrone Jones held the CFL record for sacks in a Grey Cup game after recording 4 sacks in 1984. He held the record until 2011. The record is now 5 sacks by Grover Covington in 1986. His total went from 3 to 5 sacks in 2011 after the CFL re-scored all televised Grey Cup games using 2010-2011 statistical scoring rules.
