Little Stazija is still very shy. She comes out when the room is empty and sleeps in other places. A couple of times she has stayed in other hiding spots but generally she stays behind the curtain when I'm here.
She enjoys watching cat tv on my phone and likes the snacks I leave nearby.

A calico cat has flopped down on the carpet to cuddle a grey cat and the grey cat is rearing back in protest.
The grey cat retreated under a chair, calico followed her, and grey retreated back out into the room. I’ve had a feral in a cage in the house so the carpet is a disgrace but it’ll get vacuumed over the next few days now Miss Feral has been released. 🙀🙄
Grey returns to her original sunbeam but keeps one eye on calico. 🙀
Tootsie says that she’d like to keep Kay too. Kay is not so sure. #FosterCat 😻🐈🐈⬛

Corneal blood vessels are seen growing up from the lower right edge, indicating that this has been going on for a while.

Taking pictures of Nimbus's eyeballs to document recovery is just NOT a one-person job. I did my best.
(I think they're looking a little better? Pretty sure they at least haven't gotten any worse, which I'm willing to accept.)

A week since little Stazija came to the house. She hasn't moved from behind the curtain except for the necessaries.
I know she sits on the windowsill at night sometimes.
If you pull the curtain back too far you get a gentle warning hiss and then she goes back to sleep.

Photo of a 6-month-old gray tabby kitten (Nimbus) is a 4x4' area with two litter boxes, food, water, and a few toys. The plastic walls are only 20" high, and a healthy kitten could easily hop out, but Nimbus has difficulty walking due to FIP, which he is currently being treated for.
Nimbus is trialing a playpen instead of the dog crate so he can have two litter boxes instead of just one. We'll see if that solves the problem.
I may be wrong about him being too uncoordinated to jump over the playpen walls — we'll see!
