What is a growth policy? A foundation for the future.
A growth policy is a guidance-like document that the City will refer to over the next few years. Nothing in it can be enforced (like a law or regulation), but the Council, officials and city staff will consider it when making decisions. It includes topics like: affordable housing, environmental protections, traffic, economic development, zoning and so much more.
