Yes, they ate us, sometimes out of twisted ritual, other times under the false claim of medicine, and often just because they could. They treated us as less than human, even in death. Our remains weren't buried with dignity, but turned into relics and trophies. This part of history is buried deep because it's in - kind lenient, too dark, too horrifying, too real. But silence won't protect us. We tell these truths because our ancestors deserve to be remembered as people, not property. And the world needs to understand just how far dehumanization went. Not just chains and whips, but complete erasure of personhood. Never forget what was done, and never let anyone tell you it wasn't that bad. SHAH believe inspire blacks be.

Gah! My computer just auto-suggested “irregardless” & in my confusion I dropped into a ridiculous wormhole of words that shouldn’t actually exist & mean the opposite of what logic would imply.
