In a social media post, the PAC wrote “We don’t need Congressmen that thank ICE. We need Congressmen that will abolish it like @DonavanMI13 & @Justinjpearson,” linking to the social media handles of Donavan McKinney and Justin J. Pearson. The post included a list of 75 Democrats who voted last summer to “express gratitude” to ICE, which included Shri Thanedar & Steve Cohen. McKinney is running against Thanedar in Michigan; and Cohen is running to unseat Cohen in Tennessee.
