A page from the Madcap Tabletop RPG guidebook. It features an anthropomorphic cat with big eyes, lolling tongue and patchy, garish clothes. She is holding a large mallet, preparing to smash a yarn ball. Text below.

Wacko
There might be some kind of logic to what you do... but if anyone was hard-pressed to figure it out, it would be that you like to have fun. You have no impulse control - you see something, you go after it. You're fun to visit, but I wouldn't want to live with you. You're easily fooled, but you're also easy to anger, and you never give up. You are capable of things others can't do, often because no one ever told you that you couldn't do it.

Wackiness
To do something out of the ordinary, roll +zany.
7-9: Either give up, or choose one and the Director gives you a complication. 10+: Choose one.
• Ask the Director a question about the current situation and include a thing that has no relation to the situation. Such as "is there an escape route to Albuquerque?", "Who's the biggest threat who just needs a hug?". "Why isn't there a gift basket of fresh fruit here?", "Why isn't that bear trap wheelchair accessible?" "Who's in charge here and why hasn't my soup arrived yet?" etc. If you or your friends act on the answer, they get +1 forward.
* Set up a cut-away gag to something else, far away.
Anyone who appears in this gag now has a grudge against you.
* Quick change into some costume and do a bad impression of some other person, then ask someone to go along with your plan.
Or make something up!
Frantic
To fight in a grudge match, roll +laughs. (if you have no laughs, roll two dice and add nothing.)
Up to 6: You get hurt! Take your lumps.
7-9: You don't get hit, but you are a huge distraction.
Everyone else gets +1 forward to their grudge matches for the rest of this scene.
10-12: You actually do some damage to your target.
13+: Too much! Not only do you some damage to your target, but you take a lump, yourself. (What, and quit show business?)
At the discretion of the Director, you also start a chain of events that escalates into something bizarre. (Your pants fall down, revealing the birthmark that proves you're the heir to the throne.
You spill a glass of wine that causes a waiter to slip, fly out the window, and into a pillow factory scheduled for demolition. Your gesture inspires the rampaging monster to fall madly in love with you, then we smash cut to the wedding, etc.)
