Home - Ontario Clean Air Alliance The Ontario Clean Air Alliance led the successful campaign to phase-out Ontario’s five dirty coal-fired power plants. We are now working to move to a zero carbon electricity grid by 2035, and lower electricity bills, through an integrated combination of energy conservation and efficiency, cost-effective Made-in-Ontario green energy, and energy cooperation with Hydro Quebec.Today, the OCAA is working on the next step to clean up our electricity grid by phasing out gas power. As a first step we’re calling for Ontario to triple its wind and solar and double its energy efficiency.

To be fair, retaliation, especially disproportionate, genocidal retaliation, isn't actually defence. But Iran isn't doing that. If only they'd had the foresight to learn from Israel about pre-emptive defence.

Side note: nuclear makes you a target.
