Just started a new Nuxt 4 project and included Nuxt UI, assuming Tailwind CSS would be there automatically. Turns out it's a separate install! 🤔 It'd be super helpful if Nuxt UI either bundled Tailwind or prompted users to install it during setup. What do you think, @danielroe.dev? #Nuxt #NuxtUI
This upgrade from #nuxtui v2 to v3 has been really rough... I'm surprised since the nuxt v2 to v3 was so rough I figured they would avoid that level of mess... So many breaking changes probably compounded with the tailwind v3 to v4 upgrade too.
Things got weird tonight...

And you know what? It's for something that will make @nuxt.com developers happy 👀

I love the simplicity of using #nuxtui but trying to customize the components to match a design that didn't take components in to account is proving to be quite difficult. I'm almost closer to just hand rolling the components since I don't need the flexibility.
