House approves HB 426 requiring LEAs to set policies for online education providers HB 426 passed the Utah House on Feb. 24. Sponsor Rep. Walter described it as an attempt to ensure course objectives, pacing and teacher-of-record interactions for students in alternative and online education models.

The House has just passed a groundbreaking bill aimed at enhancing accountability in online education, protecting over 10,000 students in alternative learning models.
