Met my dearest friends in #Ludlow today. Wow it’s posh at weekends 🤣 Maserati SUVs, 74 plate Audi RS Q-huge burbling exhausts. Meanwhile #RiverTeme doing its thing. Charlton Arms wall is doing a good job for the Airbnbs. Heavy sediment load of prime real estate onboard.
Pebble river bed, no water flows at least at the surface. Sheep in the distance.
An algae-filled pond is all that remains of a deep river pool. Dry pebbles, and sheep.
Ancient pebble terraces are exposed in a cliff (usually submerged) under a parched turf riverbank. The river is completely dry here. Algae on pebbles have blanched in the sun.

Fast flowing, but not rapids, river seen from floating down it. The banks are wooded and the water is very green.
