If #Trump really wanted to empower #SLTTs, his admin would ensure that training & other #preparedness/ #protection grants were fully funded.
He would ensure that agencies that partner with SLTTs like #NOAA, #NWS, #USFS, #NIH, #CDC, & #EPA are fully funded so they can help SLTT’s prepare & respond.
The #US needs federal coordination & support in all #emergency phases.
Without it, or absent the time & training to assume more responsibility, state, local, tribes, territories ( #SLTTs) and PEOPLE will suffer.
