Last week the six-monthly #HS2 update to Parliament was published. There were three notable things in it: the Mark Wild reset plan was being delayed, they were considering making the trains run slower and HS2 has been badly mismanaged.

Make the current infrastructure created for HS2 into a Canal system
Having questions about transgender isn't an issue. Raising opposing views in public to the party's position cannot be tolerated.
So HS2 lorries have damaged the water pipes which has caused flooding. So HS2 lorries start driving on roads on which they’re not allowed and endangering life by driving over a railway bridge that can’t support the lorries’ weight. #STOPHS2
So, no official pact, but let's pick Chesham & Amersham, @libdems.org.uk overturned an 8k Tory majority! On the back of #StopHS2, destruction of habitat, chalk stream.
But Both Lib/Dems @greenparty.org.uk agree on this
So identify policy overlap & tactical voting around specific issues
#HS2 is currently costing £150m per week. With the equivalent spend you could build a fully equipped #NHS hospital every month.
Instead @heidialexander.bsky.social & @labouruk.bsky.social would rather waste your cash on the appalling mess that is HS2! 🚂💷💷💷
