The garden chair that blew off the deck in #StormGoretti got restored to the deck yesterday. I haven't yet looked to see if it escaped again, but the wind sounded strong enough to move it. This morning's whizzing (empty) flowerpots: three small plastic ones.

After a belated recognition that Cornwall was hit very hard by #StormGoretti, and now by #StormIngrid, it was a shame that producers could not correctly identify which county Teignmouth is in. #bbcpm
Rescued the wheeled garden bucket before it disappeared down into the road, and stashed it in the greenhouse. Tucked one of the garden chairs into a conifer behind which there is a fence. Nothing else currently on the move 🤞🏻but it is as gusty as in #StormGoretti. Fought with the door to get back in.

I ventured outside now that its stopped raining, and the sky is clearing. Birds are singing, and I even heard a thrush briefly, which is wonderful. Picked up chairs, barrows, and items which had blown into or round the garden. The high wind blew stuff around more than #StormGoretti.
