Not particularly shiny or anything, but every time I get edited, I look for patterns/repeats the editor has pointed out, and I add to a file I call my "Foible List."
Every time I’m done a draft, I go through the Foible List to check for mistakes already know I make.

I wasn't sure what to share today, but decided to go with a snippet where I purposely did a BIG no-no: switched verb tense.
This is the only scene where this happens & I did it to convey disorientation/a feeling of time concentrated to a pinpoint.
