The image features a rectangular poster with a teal background, centered in which is an intricate design. This design is filled mostly with text, bordered by a hand-drawn rectangle. At the top, "SYMPOSIUM '84" is written in uppercase letters. Below, the name "William Morris" is prominently displayed in stylized, bold white typography against a dark background. Underneath his name, the words "DESIGNER," "POET," and "SOCIAL REFORMER" are listed horizontally, separated by minimal decorative icons. At the bottom, additional information about the event is presented in smaller text. The lower-right corner contains a circular emblem with the text "LLYFRAU’R HAGOR BOOKS & BEYOND" in a gradient design. The lower-left corner displays the emblem and name of "Prifysgol Cymru," adding academic context to the poster.
On this day in 1984 a symposium was held at Townhill Campus to remember the designer, poet and socialist William Morris who had been born 150 years prior.
