in der Bildmitte ein kleiner Vulkan, unterhalb des Standortes des Photographen, auf den eine schnell ansteigende Wolkenfront von unten vom Atlantik kommend hochprescht. Es sieht aus wie die Gischt einer grossen Welle, aufspritzend und in kleine Bestandteile zerfallend.
Blick vom Hochland auf der #IlhaDoPico auf niedriger gelegene kleine Vulkane. Ein schnell aufsteigende Wolkenfront schiebt sich am Berg hoch.

Im Vordergrund ein alter überwächserner Weg, bedeckt mit Moosen und Bodendeckern, am Rand gesäumt von Baumheiden, Bergthymian und Wacholder. Im Hintergrund der Vulkan Pico. Der Himmel ist blau, keine Wolke, das Grün der Pflanzen changiert in vielen unterschiedlichen Tönen.
Ich liebe besonders die alten landwirtschaftlichen Wege, grün mit Moos und anderen Bodendeckern überwachsen.
Darauf zu gehen ist wunderbar weich.

Kurze Zeit später ist der Vulkan frei von Wolken. Blauer Himmel, schneebedeckte Krone, Grüne Hänge bis zur Baumgrenze.
Schon wenige Sekunden später sah das so aus. (2)

Der Vulkan Pico, teilweise schneebedeckt, ist in eine rasche ziehende dünne und durchsichtige Nebelwand eingewickelt. Der Himmel darüber ist blau, die Heide-Gewächse auf felsigem Boden im Vordergrund stehen in der Sonne.
Hochland der #IlhaDoPico mit dem grossen Vulkan. Der Nebel zieht rasch. 1200m Höhe über Meeresspiegel. (1)
