Lawrence County commissioners approve contracts for child placement, VR training and courthouse repairs; accept small health grant At their Feb. 10 meeting, Lawrence County commissioners approved a new contract to place a hard-to-place youth, a memorandum of understanding to give child-welfare staff year-round virtual-reality training, selected The Efficiency Network to lead courthouse capital projects, and accepted a $4,269 health grant for bottled-water dispensers; a $1,200 voter-services transfer was also approved.

Lawrence County commissioners have taken significant steps to enhance child welfare and courthouse efficiency by approving new contracts and innovative training solutions.
