First convention in a hot minute, got my delegate status challenged. Nothing makes you feel more welcome as a DFL voter than trying to say "we don't agree so you can't vote." #ward2
Well, looks like I'm a City Delegate now too. Something like 13 people stood for the eight slots for Precinct 5 but one of the old hands adeptly talked some folks into accepting Alternate slots instead until it was whittled down.
I think we can go home!

I did see Robin outside the school on my way in (didn't bug her) but you could offer me a thousand American dollars and I still wouldn't be able to point out either of the carpetbaggers running against her for City Council
Sounds like they're gonna have less people interested in being delegates than they have open slots — uh oh, time for a hard decision (how many Saturdays do I feel like giving up for the DFL?) #ward2
I have also broken the bad news to a fellow caucusgoer that she actually lives in Ward 6 and will need to attend their caucus #ward2
At the caucus and have already parried one attempt to part with my precious email address and phone number ("uh, it says 'optional' so I'm'a decline to OPT IN to your spam emails and texts") also, don't they have it already, I mean REALLY #ward2
