Oddly enough, I learned 6502 assembly way before #Z80! As a kid with a #ZXSpectrum I somehow thought machine code would be impossibly difficult. Learned 6502 at school in 1991. Finally took the plunge with Z80 in 1994 on the SAM Coupe! St. Andrews Uni was still teaching Z80 in a module in 1995 too.

For too long now, 8 bit retro computers have been largely targeted at boys. I didn't think that was fair, so I have created a new retro computer kit just for girls, the MENSTRUAL 3.
This is still ZX81 compatible, but has a new mode which is Petticoat 5 compatible.

Speak cat, Dutch, English and a wee bit of German and French, on top of tinkering with computers, and at the very least; not fully drown in Linux.

I wrote a retro Snake game in Z80 assembler. Still needs some work but the basic functions to move and grow the snake when it eats food are there.
