Das ist der kleinste QR-Code der Welt Speicher im Nanomaßstab: Forscher haben den kleinsten QR-Code der Welt produziert – und schafften es damit ins Guiness-Buch der Rekorde. Jeder Bildpunkt im Nano-QR-Code ist nur 49 Nanometer klein und in ein beständiges Keramikmaterial eingefräst. Nutzt man solche QR-Codes als Datenspeicher, könnte man auf einer DIN A4-Seite mehr als zwei Terabyte an Daten speichern. Ein solcher Datenspeicher wäre zudem tausende Jahre haltbar, ohne dass Kühlung, Energie oder sonstige Pflege nötig wäre.

Currently archiving some old home movies for my neighbor. A lot of them are on these mini DVD-RW discs. I'm glad I talked him into it because some of the discs are already starting to rot. 😳
