I have to admit, I'm not usually a necklace kind of person. I have to make an effort to remember to put one on. And then - what shows well against what I'm wearing? What about necklines and collars?? I love how this #limitededition #CloudDancer color truly goes with anything, so I don't have to consider whether what I'm wearing will match. And the nice thing about these standard-length pendants is that the 18" chain usually hits just about right for me, either overlapping the neckline nicely or hanging above when wearing a lower cut. If you prefer a longer or shorter chain, just select the right length for you when adding the pendant to your cart - I offer choker-length, 16", 18", 20", or 24"!

Pantone's 2026 color of the year is "Cloud Dancer" - basically, white. I have a particular problem making white jewelry. It's not that I dislike white! It's the fact that I use focused sunlight to melt glass. In order to melt, the glass has to reach a certain temperature (around 1,600F for most types of glass). I focus sunlight on the glass, and - here's the key bit - the pigment in the glass absorbs the light, converting it into heat! That means that different colors of glass will heat up at different rates, with dark colors heating faster while pale colors heat slower.
I've struggled for years to make white Sundrops, and finally succeeded!

I imagine it's always a popular colour with books as grey/white is a good foil.
Have heard talk of #clouddancer being chosen as an antidote the overwhelm many are feeling. I do feel it's rather like being muffled in a cloud, though I wouldn't wear this colour or decorate a room with it.
