It took me 20 years but I finally finished THE REALM OF THE ELDERLINGS! This 16 book fantasy epic is broken up into 5 sub-series. Some are better than others… Very solid coming of age, can be read as one complete story. 8/10 I don’t like these as much but they reveal a lot of big plot points. 6/10 Incredibly good, can stop after this trilogy & feel satisfied. 9/10 Weak & forgettable. Can skip them & read a summary. 4/10 Perfect & devastating!! Ripped my heart out. Holy shit what an ending!! 10/10!!!! My face when I finished the series: ROBIN, WHY?? Books 1-3, 7-9 & 14-16 all follow the same POV character: Fitz. The other books are multi-POV in a different part of the world.
