Das Bild zeigt eine verlassene Eisenbahnbrücke, die sich in der Mitte des Bildes erstreckt. Die Brücke ist aus Metall gebaut und weist deutliche Anzeichen von Alterung und Vernachlässigung auf. Die Metallkonstruktion ist mit vielen Stahlträgern und Schrauben versehen, die das gesamte Bauwerk stabilisieren. Die Holzschwellen, die einst die Gleise trugen, sind teilweise verfallen und mit Moos und Flechten bedeckt. Die Brücke führt über eine flache Landschaft, die von Bäumen und Grünflächen umgeben ist. Der Himmel ist bedeckt, was auf einen bewölkten Tag hinweist. Die gesamte Szene vermittelt ein Gefühl von Ruhe und Vergessenheit.
Mein mit drei Taschen bepacktes Brompton steht an einer alten DDR-Bushaltestelle, in der eine Bank steht. Zwei der drei Fahrradtaschen sind in neon-gelben Regenhüllen eingepackt.
Zu sehen sind die Begrenungsmauern und die inneren Pfeiler einer gotischen Kirche. Das Dach fehlt komplett, der Boden besteht aus Rasen.
Ich weiß, es ist schon ewig her: Anfang Juni fuhr ich mit dem #Brompton von Koblenz nach Berlin entlang der #Kanonenbahn.
