25 years ago, Concorde Air France flight 4590 to New York carrying 96 German passengers from the city of Mönchengladbac crashed on Hotelissimo next to the hotel-restaurant Les Relais Bleus at the place-said of La Patte d'Oie de Gonesse located in the commune of Gonesse 90 seconds after taking off, causing the death of 113 people including 100 passengers, 9 crew members and 4 residents of the hotel having been pulverized.
A tragedy of such magnitude that it caused the cessation of use of the supersonic until its return to service on 7 November 2001, then until its last flight at the end of May 2003 for Air France and at the end of October 2003 for British Airways.
Imagine the trauma it was for the manager, an employee, a client and a British tourist guide (who jumped from the 1st floor into the manager’s arms at the time of the crash, which saved his life) of the Hotelissimo having managed to escape death at the moment when the Concorde crashed, they had a guardian angel watching over them even though the explosion was so powerful that it had the effect of a mini-atomic mushroom due to the tons of kerosene having blazed
What is even more terrifying in this air accident is that the comedian Michael J. Fox (on summer holidays in France in July 2000) could have been among the victims if he hadn't decided to take the flight of 24 July 2000 and he was so traumatized by this tragedy when he saw the report that he cried all day, deeply touched to realize the incredible luck he had in escaping this air disaster of Air France flight 4590 (go to 10:24 on the timecode to arrive at the mentioned time) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEB8PCfeXUw&t=681s
