I just used the word Interoceptively intentionally and without thought for the poor reader.
Shout out to all the grown up hyperlexic kids who knew words they couldn't pronounce and once got beat up for either knowing the word or saying it wrong.

My stubborn little heart took offense to the idea that my #hyperlexic self was too young to understand adult #vocabulary, so I read the book with the #dictionary right next to me, so I could look up any words I didn't understand. There weren't many. I read this book in less than a day. (3)
My idea of heaven is a giant #library with a cozy daybed, a warm fireplace, unlimited snacks, a pet lion to snuggle with while I #read every book ever written, because I didn't have enough time to read them all in this lifetime.

I am one of the #hyperlexic smart kids who read at a college level by 3rd grade. Without access to #read whatever I wanted in my #publiclibrary, I would have killed myself. #Books were my salvation.
Trying to #BanBooks and what knowledge kids have access to is beyond crazy, and frankly, stupid.
I was the #hyperlexic kid, reading adult #novels by the time I was 8. #ChildrensBooks were too easy. My local #library let me read any #books I want and #learn about anything I wanted. The freedom to #read is a part of why I know how to think for myself, and am not easily fooled by #political BS.
