In #WhatIf V1 #7, others gain Spider-powers instead of #PeterParker: #FlashThompson dies, #BettyBrant quits, #JohnJameson sacrifices himself. In the end, it proves Peter was always the right one for the job of #SpiderMan - despite his self-esteem issues, the Marvel Universe is lucky to have him.
