That, especially, is very BTAS-feeling, which would have completed its run about three years prior to this film's release, or a year prior to its making. All art is derivative, so that's no slight, but I do sense an influence. But conversely, this film allegedly influenced, like, a ton of others including, famously, The Matrix, so that's one reason I've always wanted to see it.

Whoaaa the opener is some kind of weird, panning #oner that goes top-down, & it's giving Batman The Animated Series. It's very stylish and cool, and I'm not sure how it was accomplished, but it fluidly transitions to a regular-scale man in silhouette 🤩
