Let's get to it folx; this new creation of mine is born from alpacas- a south American medium sized livestock used in high elevations for their cashmere quality fur and milk products. Besides the alpaca, the kelpie ( myth), unicorn, peacock, snow leopard, and ostrich played a huge part in creating this animal. The central image is of this animal in a prancing pose, with the long tail swooshing like a capital S. The image to the left is an impression of what ita facial structure is like- based off animals like deer, goats, horses- herbivores. But it has 3 eyes, the third is the largest. The eye are like octopus with odd shaped pupils, not goat, sorry folx! Octo eyes are cooler. It has a single horn protruding from thick curly mane-like fur on its head and neck, and long ears that stand up at attention. The mane continues down front to the chest and down the abdomen, hanging down like a horses mane, growing long. Its forefront legs are drawn thick with fur that feather around the ostrich like feet. Upon its back mixed with the curly fur is feathers like a peacock. The back legs arent nearly as fuzzy as the front, ending in ostrich legs. The tail is thick and powerful like a snow leopard, with peacock feathers growing between the voluptuous silky fur.
The Lore is that these fairy critters are used for clothing, their fur is spun into all sorts of high end cloth. They're seen as full of good-luck and its illegal to kill one, as Taph society sees them as divine aspects that serve good. They're known to guide the lost to be found and visit dreams of paragons, oft leading to revelations and linked to prophecies. They stand at shoulder length to an average human, and weigh about 100 kgs. They dont have fairy wings but they can still fly with magic folx. They're good-aligned, whimsical fae critters. Hope yall like. Bird 2026
