There isn’t enough data to accurately measure progress on the SDGs. And where data does exist, it’s often incomplete, inaccurate, or fails to reflect the experiences of entire groups of people. “Accurate, timely and disaggregated data are vital for measuring progress towards the 17 SDGs and 169 associated targets” “Without high-quality data providing an evidence base, it will be impossible to truly understand where we are succeeding and falling short on the SDGs” “34 targets (20%) lack sufficient trend data or additional analysis” Source: UN Stats Sustainable Development Goals Report 2024

To leave no one behind, we need data that sees everyone.
